Although widely used in the most diverse industries, ELESA technopolymer hinges have been designed and manufactured with industrial machinery and equipment in mind. The structural design and materials used allow to guarantee the products' high mechanical stress and wear resistance as it is often the case in industrial environments.
Every single hinge has been tested in ELESA laboratories so as to provide accurate values on strength resistance to radial, axial and 90° traction (all data are available on the ELESA catalogue) so as to enable designers to select the most suitable hinges for the intended purpose.
The brand new hinge electronic selector from ELESA allows to enter specific parameters (position and weight of door, quantity of hinges in use, etc.) to display the code list of ELESA hinges meeting actual working conditions.

The designer must take into account an adequate safety coefficient according to the application and specific operating conditions (vibrations, dynamic loads, working temperatures at the limits of the allowed temperature range). In the end, however, the designer is responsible for checking that the product is suitable for its intended purpose.
